  • Cut an artery or vein;
  • Place an IV in the wrong location;
  • Administer the wrong anesthetic, or give too much;

  • Fail to recognize and repair injuries during surgery;
  • Operate on the wrong leg, arm, etc.; 
  • Keep you in a position during surgery too long, causing nerve injuries;
