People go into hospitals to get well, but sometimes are injured because of the carelessness of the hospital staff and employees:

• Give wrong medicine or improper amount;
• Failure to watch patient monitors;
• Drop patient off table or bed;
• Too few nurses for too many patients; 
• Failure to monitor IV administration; 
• Failure to perform tests or to properly interpret test results;
• Failure to communicate patient symptoms to doctor;
• Mistakes made during the administration of anesthesia;
• Failure to properly read x-rays, CT-Scans, MRI;
• Sponges or other foreign objects left in the body.
